Award-winning Artist/Author Maura Weiler grew up in Connecticut and earned her BA and MA in English Literature from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Chicago, respectively. A trash artist with studios in Denver, Colorado and Nice, France, her work has been featured on NBC Television and in galleries, shows, and private collections nationwide. She is a former columnist for The Connecticut Post and Director of Development at Blue Tulip Productions, where she helped develop the screenplays for such films as Speed, Twister, and Minority Report. Contrition is her first novel.
