Weiler decorates shoes she finds at garage sales, thrift stores, and alleyways with magazine cuttings, wrappers, even objects like cigars, dog treats and Pez dispensers, giving them a new tread on life. “It’s a sort of dress-up for some­thing that was a dress-up item before,” she says in a press release.
